Alarm
The first time it rings,
My body still clings
To the dear bedsheet and the sun that has yet to rise.
To return to bliss, I close my eyes,
Then wake up when a bird sings.
exams
In a futile search, I probe for clues in the wall
Till my teacher remembers to take the poster down; what a curveball.
In a pitiful effort, still I try.
Until sanity wanes and my eyes are dry,
And when I get home, it’s time to bawl.
latte
It’s only 8 in the morning,
Yet I can’t help but keep yearning
For freedom, escape
And iced coffee rose with extra creamy cream and sweet sugar to stay in shape.
Despite my mother’s scorning.
Wi-fi

But unlike supercars,
We still need 4 speed
In our Wi-Fi; so I plead
For one more bar, or I’ll wage war.
